Saturday Nor'Easters Record First Win!

Sheila Weldon scored the game's only goal while Bobby Heghmann withstood a late flurry of shots to preserve the shutout in an exciting 1-0 win against the Wolfeboro She-Wolves Saturday night in Concord. The win was the first for the Saturday Nor'Easters this season, as well as Coach Rob Carter's first in his "career."

About the Nor'Easters

The Concord Nor'Easters is a recreational level hockey club based in Concord, NH, open to women aged 18 or older of all ability levels, from true beginner to expert.

Everett Arena ice resurfacer During the Fall and Winter sessions, the club is loosely divided by ability level and/or interest. Intermediate and advanced players meet every Friday from 9:30 to 11:00pm for a few team drills and a lot of scrimmaging. Beginners, intermediates and any advanced players who are interested meet every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00pm, and focus more on skill development and team drills, with some scrimmaging as well. Both groups skate at the Douglas Everett Arena in Concord.

During the Spring session (April - June), the two groups combine for scrimmages each Thursday evening at the Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH. During the Summer (July - August), the combined group returns to Everett Arena Friday evenings at 7:30.
